LETHBRIDGE, AB (March 3, 2021) – On February 26, the Building Industry & Land Development Association Lethbridge Region (BILD) – Lethbridge Region hosted their 22nd annual Awards of Excellence in Housing and presented 25 awards to the highest scoring developer, renovators, home builders, trade and suppliers. The virtual event was capped off with the prestigious Builder of the Year Award that recognized one builder for their efforts in customer satisfaction, new home design, safety, and community and association involvement.
The Awards of Excellence in Housing celebrates the achievement of BILD Lethbridge Region members that continue to advance the goals of the residential construction industry and who offer quality, affordability, and choice of housing in well planned communities for Lethbridge region consumers.
This year’s award categories included new home design, community development, safety, energy efficiency, renovation, marketing, along with best trade and best supplier. Criteria for each award is complex and multi-faceted to ensure the absolute highest standards are recognized. 16 industry professionals from across the country rigorously judged the entries to determine the winners.

Our land developers, homebuilders, renovators, trade and supplier members are leaders in our industry, and I am proud to be part of such excellence. Congratulations to all the entrants and winners.”

Highlights from the ceremony included Ashcroft Master Builder being awarded Builder of the Year for 2020 for the second year in a row. Their achievements included an additional seven awards: three for home designs; sales centre; website; and best new home sales person. Avonlea Homes kept the pressure on winning seven awards for their creative designs, safety initiatives and development project: Empire Home Renovations once again swept all three renovation categories.
